Grow info
Friesland is one of the true classics from the early days of the Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) in the 1980s. It has been preserved by breeders across generations because it has particularly rare characteristics.
Our current mother plant was filtered out of a selection of 120 plants in total in order to pass on the most stable and highest-quality line.
The plants grow compact, stable and bushy, with sturdy stems and broad, fleshy indica leaves. Towards the end of flowering, under the right conditions, an impressive play of colour with violet and reddish shades appears. Thanks to its lavish resin coverage, it is outstandingly suited to producing hash and extracts.
In terms of flavour, Friesland offers an earthy, spicy profile accompanied by creamy undertones. Individual phenotypes can additionally develop a slightly chemical, sticky note. The effect is strongly body-focused, relaxing and calming, which makes it an ideal strain for the end of the day or for medical use.
The cross of Friesland Indica x K-Dank combines robust outdoor performance with classic Kush aromas – perfect for anyone who does not want to compromise on quality even in a difficult climate.
